The history of hairstyling can be traced back thousands of years to ancient civilizations such as Egypt and Greece, where barbers were highly respected members of society. They were responsible for a variety of tasks, including hair cutting, beard trimming, and even surgery.
During the Middle Ages, barbers also performed tasks such as tooth extraction and bloodletting, which led to the creation of the traditional red and white barber pole as a symbol of their trade. In the 18th and 19th centuries, barbershops became popular gathering places for men to socialize and discuss current events, while separate salons for women began to emerge around this time too.
And barber shops and hair salons are well known to be places where there’s lots of gossip exchanged. Well here’s a video that has a hair-cutting story you’ll probably want to bring with you the next time you go in for a trim.
The kid in this video clearly doesn’t want their hair cut–they pout, cry and do everything short of throw a tantrum. But the stylist keeps going throughout and the kid eventually starts to settle down–even after loosing what looks like nearly two feet of hair!
But the wildest part isn’t the kids reactions during the haircut, it’s what happens afterward! Watch the short clip below for the surprise of the day and please leave us a Facebook comment to let us know what you thought!
