Officers Rescue Over 500 Puppies from Puppy Mill, and One Year Later…

Some puppies and dogs have been the victim of abuse and struggle in large scale breeding operations, or “puppy mills” for decades. There are a lot of people who don’t know the importance of an animal’s well-being and many others who may know but don’t care.

Thankfully, this video shows that there are definitely those that DO know and DO care. In this case, it’s a puppy mill in Cherokee County, Georgia, that raised and sold thousands of dogs annually.

Such people are now punished by the law. Over 500 puppies were rescued by cops. The puppy mill that they were kept in had been operating since 1980. Now that is a long history is animal abuse. Thankfully, things have been better after the bust for all the dogs in that mill.

Many dogs were pregnant so the rescuers took good care of all the dogs. They took the dogs to a shelter. In no time, there was a line for the people to take home the dogs. All the rescued puppies and dogs have now been adopted.

The ones who had been running the puppy mill have been rightly punished. Watch the full video below and please leave us a Facebook comment to let us know what you thought!
