The video below was shared by a non-profit rescue organization dedicated to helping and advocating for dogs in the Detroit area called The Detroit Bully Corps. The clip shows two former fighting dogs meeting each other for the very first time. One of them is called Vito, while the other one is called Maggie. The poor animals were once used for dogfighting. But thankfully, they were rescued before it was too late for them. You are going to be smiling from ear to ear when you see what happened when Vito and Maggie met for the first time ever.

As you can see, the duo instantly clicked. And they look so happy playing together. It is like they have known each other their whole life. Seeing previously abused dogs so happy really touches one’s heart, doesn’t it? The people at the Detroit Bully Corps really did a good job! Who knows what would have happened to Vito and Maggie if they hadn’t received that second chance? According to the organization, this video defines the very reason they wake up daily.

They say their mission is to improve the lives of canines. Detroit Bully Corps gets canines from every back ground. They say that both Vito and Maggie have shown a true will to thrive & enhance the lives of all they touch.
