Man Convinces Entire Train Car to Sing “Over the Rainbow” With Him

Here’s a video about a man who, early on a Monday morning, wanted to help everyone get ready for the week by focusing “not on what we have but what we enjoy that brings happiness.”

Peter Sharp is the founder of the social movements The Liberators International and Good Vibrations Barcelona, which focus on giving people inspiration by “sharing positive acts of love and kindness in public spaces” and through its website Inspiralight.

In this video, Peter boards an early morning commuter train to Perth along with a ukulele player. He makes a public announcement thanking everyone for the work they do and inviting him to sing along–even handing out words so people can sing along. What happens next is magic and will surely lift you up as you go about your daily life.

With some strumming and humming to start it off, Peter and a few Liberators launch into the song and by the end they have an entire chorus. “More than 60% of the passengers who sung along were complete strangers,” said Michelle, one of the Liberators. “We sung the entire song, progressively gaining confidence and participants as we went.”

She continued: “When we finished an uproar of positive emotion, claps, cheers and smiles came streaming from the people.” What a fantastic way to start the week. Watch the video below and please leave us a Facebook comment to let us know what you thought!
