Tiny Dancers and Local Cops Line Up on the Street for an Epic Dance Battle

Police officers have it difficult, keeping the community safe and the streets free of criminals. Often time, it’s a thankless job, long hours, and duty even during the holidays. They deserve to have a little fun from time to time.

Thanks to social media, we get to see the less intimidating and more human side of officers in a variety of internet videos. One of the most common is the dance challenge. Whether it’s a choreographed routine or a free-style dance battle, now that we’ve seen them, it’s like we can’t get enough of these hardworking people moving and grooving.

I’ve skipped it in the playback (but you can used the slider to backtrack and start the video from the beginning if you want), the set up is that Detective Sergeant Gary Sanders from Pierce County Sheriff’s Department in Tacoma, Washington, is following up on noise complaints.

It turns out the loud sounds are coming from a children’s dance studio. But instead of taking any legal action, Sergeant Gary gets himself and the rest of the station into a dance-off with the young perpetrators.

The girls line up in the street behind the tall, muscular officers. Who can dance better? Obviously, the little darlings, on every music they rock their body in synchronization from side to side. At the same time, the officers can hardly maintain a beat. Nonetheless, the whole performance is full of energy and entertainment. Watch the hilarious skit below and please leave us a Facebook comment to let us know what you thought!
