Child support is designed to ensure the needs of a child are contributed to by both parents until he or she reaches the age of maturity. It is not unusual, however, for one parent or the other to fail to keep up with their child support obligations. Well here’s a case where that happened and the judge wanted to teach the man a lesson.
Mike Senior is a 56-year-old man who has been married several times. Sadly, his son Mike Junior was left in foster care. Mike Jr. definitely did not have a proper childhood because of his father’s negligence towards him.
When the father and son see each other at Judge Robert Rinder’s court, the father looks extremely unhappy. He’s actually belligerent to both Mike Jr. and the judge.
He even refers to his son with a ridiculous cuss word. This infuriates the judge and he even gives the father a warning look. Mike Jr. did not get a single penny off child support while growing up. He just wanted to get his rightful share of child support. But, Mike Senior did not seem to understand or even care about this.
Furthermore, Mike Sr. seems cavalier about the large number of children he’s fathered, saying “I’ve got so many kids left inside me, so I’ll keep going.”
