Traumatized Cockatoo Befriends Man Who Didn’t Like Birds Until He Met Her

When animals get stressed, they tend to get repetitive in certain behaviors. Either it’s a long and recurring howl or plucking out their own feathers. Similar was the case of this Cockatoo before a loving family took the bird in.

Fefe, the Cockatoo, was confined to a cage that couldn’t fit her. As a result, she started getting stressed and began plucking her feathers to the point of no return. Eve volunteers at  Parrot Outreach Society, a non-profit organization that specializes in rescuing birds like Fefe. It didn’t take long for Eve to fall in love with this brave little bird.

Although her husband Charlie was not very keen on having birds Eve brought Fefe home. And they bonded in no time. Charlie and Fefe are inseparable. They do everything together; Watching tv, cooking dinner, scratching the lottery, or even solving puzzles. Fefe looks so happy with the family and is clearly thriving in her new life. It is such a heartwarming story. The family even posts updates on Fefe’s growth and her adorable bedtime habits.
