When military dogs complete their service and retire, they are put up for adoption. However, the process to adoption is extremely costly – thus, hard to carry out. Most of the times, they fail. But there is one woman who has been trying her best to make adoption easier for these K9 heroes. She is named Molli Oliver. This inspirational woman has been working hard day and night to give retired military dogs a chance to live alongside the soldiers they served with.
Molli is a flight attendant. She uses her own money to fly military dogs home so that their previous soldiers can adopt them. Isn’t that amazing? Thanks to Molli’s devotion to this cause, lots of retired K9s are getting a second chance at life with the veterans they served alongside with in the battlefield. This is valuable for the dogs as well as the soldiers. The footage below features the reunion between Taylor the K9 and her soldier, Sgt. Hanson.
Nicknamed Prince Taylor and sometimes Tay-Tay, the yellow Labrador served the country in two different deployments. She detected lots of bombs, which eventually saved the lives of many soldiers. Taylor was so good at her job that she even got a bounty from the Taliban! The brave dog needed a home when she retired from the military. Sgt. Tom Hanson was really close to her during their service period. So, Molli stepped in as a bridge between the duo. You are going to be touched when you see what happened next!
