Deployment can be tough as you have to separate from your family even when you don’t want to. This video will break and melt your hearts at the same time.
The soldier in this video had been deployed for a while now. The brave soldier had to stay separated from his family for a while and we all can tell that he missed his family a lot. Turns out, the man is just as family-oriented too. When he made an appearance on GMA, his family and the show crew had a different plan for him.
When he was talking on the show, his family shows up from behind. “I just want to thank you for your service, four tours in Afghanistan, that is a tremendous sacrifice I know you’ve made and I know you’re there to send a holiday hoo-hah to all your fellow troops in Iraq and Afghanistan,” George started. “But before we do that, can you just do me a favor and turn around for a second?”
