School Cop Makes Cheerleader Stop Cheering – But You’ll Love What Happens Next

Sometimes, people don’t really have to do a lot to impress a mass of people. This video is here to show what a policeman did in a football game that surprised everyone.

Jack Taschner is an Appleton, Wisconsin, police officer, but a few years back he also served as the resource officer at Appleton East High School. The officer visited all the football games in the school for years but attendees thought he was there in an official capacity, perhaps to deal with an unruly fan.

Taschner says, “It just kind of popped in my head, I’d like to join in on them doing their cheer, and whatever they do, the bus driver thing, so I came in Friday morning, I talked to the principals, I said hey, here’s what I thought, I had an idea, and they said, yea, run with it.” The police department posted a video that garnered over 2 million views in just a few weeks.

“I envision it, as an East tradition. Something that, when I’m done being the SRO here, and someone else steps in they have to step in and do it too. It’s just a great way for the students and the officers to have that connection.” said Taschner.
