Nun’s Audition Turns All Four Chairs – And Gets Over 110M Internet Views!

There are a lot of unusual talent acts on the various talent TV shows, but this one had a twist that was pretty unique–and it got over 100 million views on the internet! It’s one of the most watched auditions ever and I wanted to share it with everyone.

25-year-old Sister Cristina Scuccia is Sicilian but moved to Milan to join the Orsolina Order of the Holy Family nuns. According to the Church, her childhood dream was to become a singer but it was not to be, at least when she was younger.

But her Mother Superiors believed in her, knew she had a good voice, so they convinced her to participate in The Voice of Italy in 2008. Sister Cristina sings a cover of Alicia Keys’s “No One,” and she sounds terrific. The audience is on their feet immediately–which at first confuses the judges since she’s hardly sung enough to judge if she’s any good.

One by one, however, the judges hit their buttons and turn their chair. They immediately realize why the audience is cheering and it’s heartwarming to watch. Watch the full video below and please leave us a Facebook comment to let us know what you thought!
