Pre-School Girl’s Dance Moves at Grad Ceremony Will Have You in Stitches

I’ve posted about free spirit kids before, but here’s one I really love. I think this girl knew she was a stand-out and took the opportunity to really shine, at least in the antics category.

This video shows a pre-school graduation ceremony at the Lebanon, Ohio, Presbyterian Church with the four- and five-year-olds all lined up on bleachers. We start out with them singing what has become a kids’ favorite, “Miss Lucy had a baby…”, also known by various other names. Originally used as a jump-rope chant, it is now more often sung alone or as part of a clapping game.

In this first song, our little dancing queen Lily shows a few moves and curtsies at the end when she hears the audience laughing. But it’s in the next song, Totty Ta, where Lily really busts out her original moves. Her grandmother, Martina Blair, recorded the video and posted it to Facebook.

“I put that video out there as a way for people to forget about it all for five minutes and just have a reason to smile,” said grandma. Well I watched it and certainly smiled, and I hope you do too! Watch the full video below and please leave us a Facebook comment to let us know what you thought!
