But there is nothing they can do besides staying courageous and brave throughout the process.

Thankfully, these days media has jumped in to help these Veterans surprise their families. Although it may mean a few hours or days, these are the moments spend with their loved ones. And it’s all that matters when you have to leave your four and a half months old baby boy to save the nation. Julie is deployed in Creech Airforce Base in Afghanistan as an airman.

Due to her work, the mother of three has missed plenty of holidays. Christmas, Newyear, thanksgiving, birthdays, and the list goes on. She has a newborn, and Julie has missed so many firsts of her baby boy. As a mother, nothing can be worse than missing the first time your baby smiles or crawls. So, she decided to reach out to the FOX5 Las Vegas Surprise Squad. The family was visiting Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay one afternoon when the squad revealed the grand surprise.
