Poor Cara was traumatized for many years. She was so scared of everyone around her. The only thing she could do was stare at the wall and wait for everyone to go away.
Upon inspection, Cara’s vet confirms it was not physical but mental and emotional torture that triggered her behavior. Anytime rescuers came to pet her, the only thing she knew was to hide away from humans.
