Man Finds $5 Flag at Flea Market but Close Look Finds Writing on Stripes

The flea market is one such place that has old items for the cheapest prices. It is not new for a person to find something precious in the market.

Many people would like to keep the valuable goods they find during the sale. But, a man decided to do something for the good of other people through his purchase. Walter and his wife saw an American flag with lots of writings on it.

They soon realized that it was a tribute to a fallen soldier. Lance Cpl. Fred Maciel lost his life in a helicopter crash in Iran in 2005. The couple decided to take the flag to Lance’s mother instead of sending it through the mail. They met her at Lance’s grave.
