This Country Icon is Singing for Her Little Sister. I Couldn’t Stop My Tears When I Heard Her!

Wynonna Ellen Judd is an American country music singer who first rose to prominence in the 1980s alongside her mother, Naomi. They were together in the country music duo “The Judds”. They released six studio albums between 1983 and 1991. They had several number one hits. After the duo disbanded, Wynonna perused her solo career.

In the following video, Wynonna sings her song “Come Some Rainy Day” for her little sister Ashley Judd. This song was written by Billy Kirsch and Bat McGrath. After being recorded by Wynonna, it was released in December of 1997. In 2000, she sang the song live onstage for her baby sister in Kentucky. Photos of their childhood play behind them and it is hard not to feel emotional as we see their beautiful bond on the screen.
