Fix Almost Anything With Super Glue and Baking Soda or Cotton

I consider myself pretty handy but I’ve never seen either of these repair techniques. Take a look at these two DIY videos to learn how to permanently fix just about anything from a loose fitting to a broken piece of molded plastic.

The common ingredient in these two repairs is super glue (brand name) or cyanoacrylate adhesive (generic term). It’s strong by itself but the trick here is to mix something with that gives it more substance, like cotton, baking soda, graphite or even cigarette ashes.

I’ve included a few videos below that show how to use it in various situations but once you see them, I’m sure you’ll come up with some of your own.
