High School Trombone ‘Headchopper’ Routine Steals Spotlight

High school is a place that gives you so many memories that you will never forget in your entire life. For many of us, the memories from high school are some of our most cherished. Well here’s a group of kids from Liberty High School in Frisco, Texas, that shocked the internet with their high school trombone routine and I’m pretty sure they’ll remember this for a long time to come.

In case you don’t remember what a trombone looks like, it’s the brass instrument that has the distinctive slide mechanism, which allows the player to change the pitch of the notes they play by moving the slide in and out.

They are available in a range of sizes, from small alto trombones to larger tenor and bass trombones. The most common type of trombone is the tenor trombone, which is what this group has.

These high schoolers are not your average school-going kids. They are more talented than you may think. This is one of the most fun routines you’ll see from a high-school band. Your jaws will drop to the floor for sure. Watch the full video below and please leave us a Facebook comment to let us know what you thought!
