Pregnant Elephant Gives Birth. Now Keep an Eye on the Right Side of the Screen

Emily was once an orphan baby elephant at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya. She was later released back into the wild where it had a chance to live her adulthood. On December 23rd, 2014, the caretakers in the wildlife trust got to experience something incredibly heartwarming beautiful. Emily returned to her foster home without any incitement, to give birth to her calf in the company of the people who played an important part in bringing her up.

Emily was deprived of a family at a young age, but now she has two daughters of her own. They are named Eve and the newly born calf in the video, Emma. The herd was ecstatic when they saw the little calf and they quickly gathered around the mother to help her out with her newborn. The keepers at the trust touched and thrilled that Emily’s decision to deliver her baby at the trust.
