In the bird kingdom, macaws have to be some of the most beautiful birds out there. Their vibrant plumage is a sight for sore eyes. You might assume these beautiful birds would resist a shower – unwilling to even ruffle one of their colorful feathers out of place. But, that’s not the case with the ones in the following video. They dance, sing, and flap their wings under the water without a care in the world.
The stunning bird in this video is already ready in the shower while the other makes a dash for it himself. Their owner had deliberately left one out of the shower so the other could have their time – but wasn’t having any of that. Tonka, the blue, green and red macaw, jumps off of his spot and hops into the shower with his friend! He has the time of his life there, splashing in the water and just enjoying the moment.
His friend Tiko is perched closer to the water. Up there, he bobs and hops under the flow of warm water, and makes sure he thoroughly clean every bit. Mom asks her birdies many times if they’re ready to leave, but they let their intentions known after protesting with a lot of squawks. The video is a must-watch, especially if you love birds!
