4-Yr-Old’s Easter Song is Adorable Way to Start Easter Weekend

The hymn “Beautiful Savior” (also known as “Fairest Lord Jesus”) has a rich history that dates back several centuries. The melody of the hymn is believed to have originated in Silesia, a region that is now part of Poland, in the 17th century. The tune was originally known as “Crusaders’ Hymn.”

In the 19th century, the melody was popularized in Germany and became associated with a new text, “Schönster Herr Jesu,” which translates to “Fairest Lord Jesus.” The text was written by a German Jesuit priest named Friedrich Heinrich Ranke and was first published in 1842. The hymn became a popular devotional song in Germany and eventually made its way to the United States–where it was picked up by this little darling, Claire Ryann.

Claire is a child singer who rose to fame through her viral YouTube videos. Claire started singing and performing at a very young age, often singing alongside her father, who is also a musician. Her rendition of “Part of Your World” from Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” went viral, and she quickly gained a following on YouTube.

Claire’s sweet voice and charming personality have won over the hearts of many fans, and she has been featured on various TV shows, including “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” But few of her performances are as adorable or moving as this one, which makes it perfect for the Easter weekend.
