The Top Secret Drum Corps originated from Basel, Switzerland. The city has a rich history of drumming, and it is said that there are 3000 active drummers at any one given time residing in the city. So, its no surprise that Basel produced one of the best synchronized drumming bands of recent times.

The band rose to fame after performing a demanding 6 minute routine at the Edinburg Tattoo in 2003. What is surprising is that none of the members are from the military—they are ordinary civilians, with jobs ranging from bankers to plumbers. This video shows them giving another spectacular show. The best part begins about 3 minutes in when the members have a “sword fight” using their drumsticks. I can’t imagine how they manage maintaining a rhythm and still jump around like that!
