When you hear the word prisoner, your mind instantly relates it to a certain heinous crime. Oftentimes, they are ordinary people like us. Just because they committed a crime doesn’t deduct the possibility of their creative skills.

In 2010, a dance recorded at a detention center in the Philippines will surely make you wonder.

In the past, artists like Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash, and Bob Dylan have performed songs in prisons. Among these talents, Michael Jackson also recorded the song “They don’t care about us” inside a prison.

Remember these are not professionals, but once you see the video, it’s hard to believe the words. Upon the instructor’s call, the inmates form a line and take their respective position. As soon as the music plays in the background, we are completely taken back by the epic dance moves.

Furthermore, their impeccable synchronization is applause-worthy. The inmates of Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center execute some amazing and tricky steps. The clip has over 38M views mostly with positive comments. The dancing program is still a part of the rehabilitation facility though, it’s no longer displayed. What do you think?
