Meerkats Notice a Giant Ball Pit in Their Enclosure, Wait Till You See Them Do the Most Adorable Thing

Suricates, more commonly known as meerkats, are small carnivores that belong to the mongoose family. Meerkats are found in Africa. A clan of meerkats often consists of about 20 members, but some have up to 50 or more. In captivity, meerkats have an average life span of 12 to 14 years, which reduces to half in the wild.

The video below features the resident meerkats at Adelaide Zoo in Australia. Their caretakers decided to set up a giant ball pit for them to play on. And when the meerkats discovered it, something really adorable happened. They inspected the pit for a while, and when they deemed it to be safe, they started enjoying themselves in the box.
