What would you think if you discovered a stash of cash in your child’s backpack? I’d be concerned and have a very worrying explanation for it. Perhaps a stranger gave it to them, they are saving for a night out, or they have started stealing.
That could be the same reaction these parents had when they discovered money in their son’s backpack. Parker Williams, nine, adores his third-grade teacher, Mrs. Chambers. In Tampa, Florida, the two-headed child attends Gorrie Elementary School.
Parker decided not to splurge on himself when he received cash for his birthday. This youngster does not believe he requires a new toy or game. Rather, he considered addressing a more pressing issue.
The thoughtful student decided to return the kindness shown to him by his teacher, Mary Hall Chambers, so far this school year. And she got a raise.
Parker states: “Well, I think she’s a really kind teacher, and she has her own way of teaching, and she spends time on everybody. I think more people should be nice. It’s just a better thing to do than being mean.”
