IG FEEL GOOD PICKS
An all-natural prepared food brand, an eco-minded showerhead, and a socially conscious shoe line

Given the current economic situation, it's more important than ever for consumers to genuinely feel good about what they're spending their hard earned money on. If you've got some extra cash lying around, rest assured that it won't go to waste on these items:
Eaturna: A collaboration between organic-minded celebrity chefs, authors and restaurateurs Beth Ginsberg and Akasha Richmond, this new all-natural, prepared food brand is geared towards busy people who expect grab-and-go food to be healthy and tasty. All Eaturna cuisine is " 100% natural, food is never fried; contains no added hormones; is free of trans fats, additives, antibiotics preservatives and nitrates; and is generally 30%-50% lower in calories and fat than traditional counterpart food items," according to company representatives. And after tasting several items - the Roasted Vegetable & Goat Cheese Wrap, Santa Fe Vegetable Salad, Caribbean Yams, Vanilla Cheesecake and Belgian Chocolate Brownies - we have to say that Eaturna holds its own against similar options available at your average grocery store. The only negative is that consumers in most parts of the country won't be able to indulge at this time, as Eaturna is currently only available at select Ralphs supermarket locations in Southern California.
Evolve Roadrunner Showerhead: The low-flow technology behind this AZ-based company's newest showerhead will not only help keep your utility bills in check, but will also help alleviate your guilt if you happen to enjoy long, hot showers. According to the website, the Roadrunner saves about 8 gallons of water for every 5 minute shower, and while we haven't scientifically tested this ourselves, we have noticed a difference in our monthly statements from the DWP. The device's ShowerStart technology even allows us to multitask in the morning while waiting for the water to heat up, as the water flow is slowed to a trickle until it reaches the 95 degree mark.
Corso Como Shoes: This beautifully designed handcrafted Brazilian women's shoe line includes sandals, flats, peep-toes, boots, and moccasins, all of which are made with natural materials, including untreated, vegetable-dyed leather, and feature breathable soles. In addition to producing killer shoes that won't kill your feet, the company is dedicated to providing fair wages and benefits, ethical treatment, and safe working conditions for all of its employees. And, this fall Corso Como will be introducing a recyclable packaging initiative, in which all of its shoe boxes, paper, and other packaging materials will be eco-friendly, thus saving an estimated 2,000 trees per year.
