LazyTown
:
This globally popular kids' TV show - sold to more than 110 countries - is considered to be one of the few properties devoted to children's health. Encouraging physical activity among young children, main character Stephanie (played by teen-to-watch Julianna Rose Mauriello) arrives in LazyTown and persuades her new friends Ziggy, Trixie, Stingy, and Pixel to be active and go outside, instead of staying inside and playing video games. Originally from Iceland, LazyTown is huge in the UK and Mexico, where they also have live shows to complement the TV show. Current merchandise available includes DVDs, music, books, toys, and housewares, and with an office predicted to open in NYC, LazyTown will only become bigger in the US.
