Flower Prints: Taking a cue from Kelly Taylor and Donna Martin of Beverly Hills 90210, '90s-style floral prints - from poppies to roses - are hitting big this summer. Fashion tastemaker Chloe Sevigny pushed the look in her edgy (yet very pricey) line for Opening Ceremony to mixed reviews, but retailers such as Urban Outfitters are offering more accessible versions of the look. For those who want the real thing, we've spotted racks of vintage junior high florals at Screaming Mimi's in NYC.

Color Changing Fabric:
Hypercolor brand apparel made a big impact in the late '80s and early '90s with their wares that changed color with heat. Favorite Hypercolor activities of the time included blowing into the fabric, making handprints, and watching as vibrant tie dye prints faded back to the original colors upon being taken out of the dryer. While the Hypercolor brand isn't slated for a revival that we know of, expect other clothing lines to increasingly tap into the retro cache of the look, as seen in the LA-based Anzevino and Florence.

Friendship Bracelets:
Expect these knotted embroidery thread bracelets to make a comeback this summer. Our favorite summer camp arts and crafts activity, we definitely recommend making them yourself. Friendship bracelets are not only fun wrist flair, but they're also the perfect present for your BFF!

Manic Panic Hair Dye:
This old school hairstyle statement recently became a hit again both on runways and sidewalks. This time around Manic Panic is not so much about getting the punk or goth look; most people are using the dye to brighten up their summer looks with vibrant highlights. Colorful streaks lightened the mood at the fashion shows of Marc by Marc Jacobs (the designer is known to rock bright blue locks), Anna Sui and Rodarte.

And by the way: The popular web prank of linking a URL to the video of '80s music artist Rick Astley's campy classic "Never Gonna Give You Up", aka "rickolling", has resulted in a surge in download sales of the song.
