Three to know Plus: iPhone frenzy
Green Girl Guide: Let's face
it---it's not easy going green. The amount of information on social and environmental responsibility, sustainable practices,
alternative energy and organic products is enough to make even the most curious consumer's head spin faster than the
turbines on a wind farm! That's why we love this new, carefully curated website for everyday women looking for some green
guidance. From organic denim to non-toxic lipstick and sustainable home decor, the Green Girl Guide offers quick tips,
recommendations and bits of information to help women look and feel good from the inside out.

Stylehive: This social shopping site
has built an international community of fashionistas and trendsetters by appealing to their inner-stylists. Once users
create a profile, they become fashion and lifestyle editor of their respective “hives”, in which they are free to give props
to favorite brands, products and designers; comment on other members’ hives; and post opinions and commentary around
personal shopping/retail-related experiences.

SheSpeaks: While Japan’s sampling
salons haven’t hit the U.S. yet, this is a similar alternative. This online market research and product testing service aims
to help brands produce better products and services geared towards women by giving the target consumer a voice. Tapping into
the average female’s natural love of freebies and samples, the site invites women to sign up, set their preferences, receive
email alerts about free products they can test and keep, and then opt to test out (or pass on) whichever products they
choose. Once the designated test-run is over, testers hold onto the free items but are required to fill out an online
survey detailing their overall experience and perception of the product/service (which can be anything from a hair care
product to a book).

And by the way: More than 700,000 iPhones have reportedly been sold already.
